All Knowing- Period 6

Imagine a psychic tells you that they can tell you the following three things with COMPLETE ACCURACY:

1. The name of the person you will marry and the date and time you will meet them.
2. The date and time of your greatest betrayal and who will commit it.
3. The date and time of when you will die.

Here is the prompt: Would you want to know? Why or why not? Explain. This is a total package and you cannot pick and choose. You either know all three or none of them at all.

She does give you a bonus though... You may know ONE true fact from your future life (that is NOT listed above). What do you ask? Why do you want to know this ONE item?

Remember: Four or more sentences to post and two or more to reply. USE PROPER GRAMMAR!!

Latest News- Period 1

Many people consider teenagers apathetic about the world in which they live. (If you do not know what apathetic means, LOOK IT UP!) Teenagers are seen as vain and self-centered with little knowledge of the news other than the latest celebrity trash gossip.
PROVE THEM WRONG!

Write about a news worthy event or controversy that you are concerned about or interested in. Describe the event or controversy and why it interests you. What is your opinion, stance or solution? Why should others be aware of your topic?  If you are unfamiliar with any news events, then go to a news website and start reading.  msn.com, BBC news and NPR are all good news sources.

Remember: FOUR sentences or more to post and two or more to reply. Use PROPER GRAMMAR or else I take 30 points off. I is always capitalized.
