What is the BEST gift you have ever received. I am not talking about money and it does not have to be super expensive. It does not even have to be a Christmas gift. I am talking about that gift that just made your eyes bug out or almost cry because it was such a surprise or so amazing.
Describe the item and tell the story behind receiving the gift. Why was it so special? Where is it now?
CHECK THE MESSAGE BELOW FROM ME ABOUT THIS!
Remember: USE CORRECT GRAMMAR. PUT YOUR PERIOD WITH YOUR NAME. FOUR OR MORE SENTENCES TO POST AND TWO OR MORE TO REPLY.

Childhood- Period 6
I was just talking to my husband about my absolute LOVE for the original Winnie-the-Pooh and Peter Pan books and movies. Just talking to him about them made me smile and reminisce about a certain and special part of my childhood.
What are some things from your childhood that give you the "warm fuzzies" and make you smile when you think about it/them? You can talk about toys, games, specific memories, food, smells, books, movies, family trips- ANYTHING from your childhood that even today puts a smile on your face. :) Be detailed and descriptive.

Quotables- Period 6
Write down a quote that inspires you. Write down the quote and who said it. Then, explain why this quote inspires you. What in your past, present or future makes this quote have such an impact.
You may include more than one quote, but you must explain each separately. If you cannot think of any quotes, you can go to http://www.quoteland.com/. They have tons of great quotes.
Remember: FOUR or more sentences. Use correct grammar! PUT QUOTE MARKS AROUND THE QUOTE!
THE QUOTE IS NOT PART OF THE FOUR SENTENCES!!!!!!
My example: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger."- Friedrich Nietzsche
I love this quote because it reflects strength and resilience. In my past I have been through abuse, violence, poverty and loneliness, but I have emerged strong, healthy and well-adjusted. This quote reminds me that hardship is meant to strengthen the will of people and not break them. When I feel like life is getting to be too hard, I reflect back on this quote and I feel more empowered.
